I love applying Lev Vygotsky's theories. Children learn from each other and develop skills when they play. I can not imagine teaching without curriculum. Planning curriculum that extends children's knowledge comes naturally to me. I used V. theories and will continue practice his ideas in the future. Through interaction, conversation, and experimentation the children improve their skills. The role of language (teacher-student conversation) is very important. Teachers who use Vygotsky's techniques (questioning, joking and talking) are building cognitive development. Conversation is important.
Hi out there! I hope this is a new post, I don't know exactly what I am doing. I wanted to list the 15 items we talked about in Zahar's class. I don't want to do it as a comment so I'll wait. Plus, I should probably be working on my finals! So, if you can tell me how to post a real comment. . . I'd like to keep the dialogue going!
